Selçuk Artut’s Motifs in ad Infinitum: Remediations in Time at Hope Alkazar (20/04/2024)
Designed by Selçuk Artut as a brand new site-specific experience, Motifs in ad Infinitum: Remediations in Time interactive immersive experience was at HOPE Alkazar for the first time as part of XTOPIA IMMERSIVE! Combining geometry and media arts, Motifs in ad Infinitum: Remediations in Time experience combined creative coding with a work inspired by the artist's travels and the patterns of historical architectural structures in various geographies. It focused on treating the erased traces between cultures as a holistic process with the desire to rebuild them. Visitors experienced the change of geometric patterns in different times and cultures and how the artist shapes it with technology. In this series based on site-specific interactions, sound and visual materials, interactive contents met with the audience in the main hall of Hope Alkazar between 20 – 30 April 2024.
